Pleasant today, but rain's on the way...

The week is looking unsettled weather-wise. Today will be nice as the humidity remains low, but that will change as winds begin to pick up out of the south and southeast. Moisture transport from the gulf will begin in earnest later today and overnight. Look for high temperatures today and tomorrow to be around 80 degrees. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 60s for the next couple of nights.

We will see a chance of rain and thunderstorms in the forecast starting late tomorrow through probably Thursday. It won’t rain continuously, but some folks will pick up some decent rainfall totals when all is said and done.

We’ll need to watch the Tuesday night through Wednesday time frame for the possibility of severe storms. Of course I’ll post more on that as the event draws near.

Have a good week everybody.
