Very slight chance of storms today, but the weekend is looking wet...

The cold front is moving into the western sections of the area this morning. A few storms could pop up along it as it moves through, but they should be isolated at best. The better chance will be to our east today. We will see gusty northerly winds behind the front and a temporary cool down. This front will eventually stall out to our south and begin to drift back to the north on Saturday. At the same time an upperlevel storm system will be moving close to the area. We could get some decent rains on Saturday and Sunday. I will wait for further data to assess the severe potential of the storms over the weekend.
