Wind wind go away...

The forecast is pretty much on track for the Denton area. The winds will be the main story for the week. We will see strong southerly winds ranging from 20-30mph with gusts to 40mph this afternoon. We will probably see the same setup again tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for today through Thursday.

There is still a very slight chance of thunderstorms tomorrow night and Friday as a weak cold front and the dryline affect the area.

Computer weather models are hinting at a stormy week next week. That will be fine tuned as we go along. In the mean time hang on to your hats and skirts and watch out for flying debris today and tomorrow as the ferocious southerly winds let loose on us.

Hang on tight and have a safe “hump day”.
