The weather pattern will remain relatively quiet for the next several days here in Denton...

Windy and dry pretty much sums up the forecast for the next couple of days. We will see high temperatures in the low 70s and lows ranging from the mid 40s tonight to the mid to upper 50s on Wednesday night.

The strong southerly winds will attempt to bring moisture into the area, but there’s not a whole lot of moisture to be had for now. The last couple of fronts that came through have moved all the way into the Gulf of Mexico and scoured out the normally available moisture for this time of the year.

A front will move into the area on Thursday and depending on the time of day and the amount/quality of moisture we can build up, we could see some scattered storms Thursday afternoon and evening. The main item going against showers and storms is the fact that our cap/lid will be very strong and difficult to break through.

That really looks like our only chance of rain for the next several days. We will continue to be in a mostly dry pattern through next week. Time to start regularly watering the yards and plants.

Have a great week.
